John Murray One (JM One) has won a four-way auction to an "empowering" new book from immunologist Dr Jenna Macciochi. Iain Campbell, publishing director at JM One, acquired UK and Commonwealth rights to Immune to Age: The Game-changing Science of Immune Health at auction from Kate Evans at Peters Fraser and Dunlop (PFD). The book will be published on 3rd July 2025 in hardback, audio and e-book editions.
The synopsis continues: "Dr Macciochi offers a profound exploration of how the immune system influences every stage of life, weaving together insights on gut health, inflammation, brain resilience, hormonal shifts and more."
The book blends "cutting-edge research with compelling personal narratives" as Macciochi tracks the seasons of life from the first 1,000 days of development to the winter years of ageing. Campbell said: "Thanks to modern medicine and human progress, many of us can expect to live nearly twice as long as we did just a century ago. The challenge now is making sure those years are healthy and vibrant. Who better to empower you to take control of your health for a long, fulfilling life than Dr Jenna Macciochi, an immunologist specialising in understanding how nutrition, movement and lifestyle interact with the immune system in health and disease?"
