Kogan Page has acquired the new book from entrepreneur and public intellectual Julia Hobsbawm on how to keep things simple in a complex world.
The publisher bought world English language rights for The Simplicity Principle: Six Steps Towards Clarity in a Complex World, to be published on 3rd April 2020.
Its synopsis explains: “Using a hexagonal model, Julia Hobsbawm shows you that it's easy to streamline and simplify both your professional and personal lives with lessons based on the natural world. The Simplicity Principle challenges the assumption that all things that are complex must stay that way. It helps keep things as lean, simple and focused as possible.”
Hobsbawm said: "I am so delighted to be joining Kogan Page with this book. They are a rare combination of being very hands-on in old and welcome ways, with the absolute cutting edge of digital strategies to bring my book to a global audience."
Kogan Page m.d. Helen Kogan added: "We're all too familiar with information overload and complexity in today's world. Julia Hobsbawm gives us an answer: keep it simple and learn from nature. We are excited to be working with her to help readers gain greater focus and reclaim productivity."
