Kyle Books, part of Octopus Publishing Group, has dished up COOK: Serve up Joy: Recipes for Sharing, the first book book by the "much-loved" frozen meals brand, COOK.
Publisher Joanna Copestick acquired world rights in all languages from Rosemary Scoular at United Agents for publication in June 2025.
Serve Up Joy compiles 27 years of experience into more than 80 recipes, including the brand’s "iconic" chicken Alexander and Moroccan lamb tagine. The recipes span "worknight wonders, feeding the family, special nights in, salads and sides, cooking for a crowd and irresistible desserts" alongside kitchen "wisdom" and menu-planning tips.

Founded in 1997, COOK now has over 100 shops and 1,000 distribution outlets throughout the UK. James Rutter, chief creative officer, commented: "We’ve loved working with Octopus on creating a beautiful book that really brings the COOK brand and ethos to life. Of course, there are loads of great, crowd‐pleasing recipes inside but so much more, too. We hope it’s not just an invaluable kitchen companion but an inspiration to connect with each other and build community. Over the years we’ve learned nothing brings people together better than sharing a good meal: it’s what Serve Up Joy is all about."
Copestick added: "I’ve long been a fan of COOK and its delicious, nourishing dishes that are equally at home at a dinner party table, as a weeknight supper winner or as gifts to time‐strapped new parents. In this first book they’ve captured the joy of the COOK ethos: sitting down together and serving up good food for good people."
