Kyle Books will publish a book on holistic health and happiness from wellness brand anatomē.
Jo Copestick, publisher, acquired world rights to The Modern Apothecary directly from authors Brendan Murdock and Gabriel Weil. It will publish on 18th January 2024.
The book uncovers five pillars of wellness – sleep, balance, movement, focus and diet – and reveals how improving these areas can alleviate common concerns such as stress, poor gut health and insomnia.
This book also spotlights today’s wellbeing “villains”, such as workplace anxiety or excessive screen time, and illustrates practices for optimising wellness.
Copestick said: "Brendan’s passion for sharing luxury self-care and proven wellbeing practices with a discerning audience, both in-store and beyond, is nothing short of inspiring. The brand, anatomē, goes from strength to strength, and I’m delighted to be publishing their first book.”
Murdock added: “At anatomē, we’re not just about formulations; we’re about building a community of individuals in charge of their wellbeing. Thinking for yourself and making informed choices rather than following trends is crucial. This book is a guide, a history book, and an entertaining read that makes wellbeing easy for everyone, no matter what their goals are.”
Weil also commented: "We wanted to create a book that speaks to you, not at you. It’s not about rigid doctrines, it’s about giving you the tools to create your path to wellbeing.”
