Lagom, Bonnier Books UK’s health and lifestyle imprint, has acquired an “illuminating, personalised and practical" guide to weight loss from nutritionist Pippa Campbell.
Editorial director Michelle Signore acquired world all language rights to Eat Right, Lose Weight: Your individual blueprint for long-term weight loss and better health from Becca Barr at Becca Barr Management for publication in December 2022.
In Eat Right, Lose Weight, the publisher says, functional nutritional and nutrigenomics practitioner and certified metabolic balance coach Pippa Campbell shows you how to become your own diet detective and work out the specific reasons why you struggle to lose weight.
It’s synopsis continues: “In the course of her work helping thousands of women with their weight issues, Pippa has established seven core areas that affect weight loss for some women: digestion, blood sugar, stress, detox, thyroid function, oestrogen and serotonin. In this practical, interactive guide, she will show you how to work out what your specific metabolic issue is, the impact it has on your body’s ability to lose weight and the steps you might take in order to put your body back on the right track. Packed with tasty recipe ideas, meal planners and illuminating client case studies, this is the book that will change the way women approach weight loss.”
Campbell said: "Eat Right, Lose Weight has come out of 10 years of experience as a functional nutritionist, working with thousands of clients. We know that diets don’t work, and weight loss is never a one-size-fits-all.
“What this book shares is my personalised, sustainable method of weight loss. The signs and symptoms that women often experience every day – lack of energy, bad sleep, mood and hormonal issues and, of course, the inability to lose weight – are signs of their body being out of balance.
“Eat Right, Lose Weight shows readers how to pinpoint their personal imbalance and how to eat to correct it, giving them the guidance they need in order to see long-term weight loss and to feel well and full of energy.”
Signore commented: “I am delighted to be working with Pippa on her first book – her expertise on food and the female body is second-to-none and she unpicks so many of the myths we’ve been told about our bodies.”
