Lagom has secured The Organised Cook: The Life-Changing Way to Save Time, Shop Smarter and Eat More Healthily from nutritional therapist Amelia Freer.
Michelle Signore, editorial director, acquired world all language rights from Morwenna Loughman at The Bev James Agency. It will be published on 8th December 2022.
Freer said: “I am over the moon to be publishing The Organised Cook with Michelle and her brilliant team at Bonnier; for me this book provides the missing link between intention and reality, and I am exceptionally proud of the solutions that it offers and the impact it will have. Organisation comes up again and again with my clients and while it really does form the cornerstone to healthy eating, keeping organised on top of everything else can seem like a daunting task. I want to demystify that whole process.”
Freer wrote The Organised Cook to show how we can achieve a nourishing diet by providing tips on how to organise your kitchen and approach food shopping, alongside advice on quick and healthy meal planning and how to cook and clear efficiently. The book also includes 70 "versatile, wholesome and simple" recipes which, coupled with Freer’s organisational strategies, will "help shift you from feeling overwhelmed to organised in the kitchen and beyond".
Signore commented: “I am so thrilled to be bringing Amelia’s new book to the Lagom list at Bonnier Books UK. Eating as healthily as possible is a goal many of us strive to reach, but with so many demands on our time, it can feel like an overwhelming ask. The Organised Cook shows you how you can take the hassle out of organising, planning and prep so that having a simple and nutritious meal to hand is in no way stressful or time-consuming. I have already taken on board many of Amelia’s tips and tricks myself and they are truly life-changing.”
