Lagom, the health and wellbeing imprint of Bonnier Books UK’s Zaffre Publishing Group, has snared The Art of InnSæi: The Icelandic Way to Harness Your Intuition by Hrund Gunnsteinsdottir.
Michelle Signore, editorial director, acquired world all-language rights from Jane Graham-Maw of Graham Maw Christie. The book will be published in hardback, e-book and audio on 14th March 2024.
InnSæi (pronounced In-Sy-Eh) is an Icelandic word for intuition, and the book’s synopsis adds: "Drawing on a delightful blend of ancient wisdom, philosophy and practical tools, this is a book that will inspire readers to approach life in a more grounded, creative and mindful way."
Gunnsteinsdottir said: "This book is a result of over 20 years of practice and research and is based on the belief that InnSæi is a superpower that helps us navigate the huge challenges our generations are faced with and create better, flourishing futures for people and the planet. It’s time to reconnect within, to other people and to the animate, beautiful and generous world that is there for us to find and attend to."
Signore added: "The Art of InnSæi is one of the most inspiring books I’ve ever had the pleasure to work on. InnSæi is so much more than just another lifestyle trend; it is an Icelandic way of life that helps us to reconnect with ourselves and the world around us. With Hrund as our guide, we learn to access intuition and to explore and celebrate both our inner and outer worlds. We all need InnSæi in our lives!"
