Laurence King Publishing has snapped up The Official Agatha Christie Puzzle Book containing 100 Christie-themed puzzles.
Deputy publisher Philip Contos and Beth Eynon, editorial director for Seven Dials, acquired world all-language rights from Agatha Christie Limited. The puzzle book will be released on 10th October 2024 in hardback.
The Official Agatha Christie Puzzle Book will include 100 puzzles alongside a narrative mystery to follow and solve.
Contos said: “We are delighted to bring the Queen of Crime’s legacy to new audiences and dedicated fans alike through our innovative new formats. We can’t wait for fans to get their hands on the puzzle book and trivia cards and put their little grey cells to the test. It’s a joy to work with Agatha Christie Limited and we look forward to continuing this partnership with more exciting titles in 2025.”
James Prichard, chairman and c.e.o of Agatha Christie Limited, said: “Laurence King continues to delight with its beautiful product range, and these latest two releases are no exception. The puzzle book delivers everything you might expect, with enjoyable references to my great-grandmother’s characters, fun allusions to her stories, and taxing new puzzles to solve. Along with the new trivia game, we can expect hours of entertainment.”
Laurence King will also publish Agatha Christie trivia cards in September 2024 that will include 300 questions about Christie’s life and writing.
