Bookouture's Erika Foster series by Robert Bryndza is to be published in paperback in partnership with Sphere following the digital publisher's acquisition by Hachette UK earlier this year.
The Girl in the Ice will be published by Sphere in paperback on 30th November along with an international trade paperback edition on 4th December. The next books in the Erika Foster series will be released in "quick succession" in both paperback and trade paperback in the UK, Australia and New Zealand throughout 2018, 2019 and beyond.
According to Bookouture the series has sold almost two million copies sold since its launch just over a year and a half ago – and has been translated in over 27 languages.
Bookouture publisher Claire Bord said the partnership was an "incredible opportunity" to bring the series to a new audience. "Bookouture will continue to focus on building upon Robert’s loyal and growing fan base of digital readers," he said.
Catherine Burke, Sphere publisher and Little, Brown Book Group executive director, added: "The chance to work alongside our Hachette colleagues at Bookouture and launch Robert as a Sphere author for the physical part of his publishing is an absolute dream. Like millions of others, Robert’s writing grabbed me from the get-go – I love Erika Foster and I adore the addictive, propulsive way Robert writes."
Bryndza said the past two years have been "life-changing" for him. "I'm beyond excited that the Erika Foster series will now reach a whole new audience in print with the Little, Brown Book Group," he added.
The fifth book in the series, Cold Blood was released in e-book, audio and paperback on 20th September.
