Little, Brown has secured two new books from Cath Weeks in a "significant" five-figure deal.
Emma Beswetherick, associate publisher at Little, Brown Book Group, acquired world rights in the books from Nelle Andrew at PFD.
First in the deal is The Wife’s Shadow, asking: What happens when the man you married discovers you’re not the woman you say you are? It will be published under the Piatkus imprint in 2018.
It follows Weeks’ debut Blind which was published earlier this year and her second book, Mothers, which will be out in e-book next month, with the paperback coming in March 2018.
Beswetherick said: "Cath Weeks is a gem of an author, ready to shine with her next book. She writes emotional, sophisticated, issue-led women’s fiction with a darkness at its core, resulting in page-turning narratives that leave you questioning your own moral judgement. I could not be happier to be continuing my relationship with this talented writer."
