"Made in Chelsea" television star Louise Thompson is publishing a debut recipe and fitness book with Yellow Kite.
Following six years on the E4 reality show, "Made in Chelsea", Thompson’s book will share her year-long journey, in which she is said to have overhauled her lifestyle to transform from "an anxiety-ridden party girl, battling with mental health and an unhealthy relationship with eating" to finding a new approach to fitness and food and "new levels of happiness, calm, direction and self-love".
The book is called Body Positive and, publishing on 31st May 2018, it will take readers through her favourite 15-minute home workouts and the recipes she swears by to keep her feeling energised.
Its aim is "to inspire readers to make lasting changes, break the cycle of self-destructive habits and build a strong body and positive mind to be proud of".
It follows a cover shoot Thompson did for Women’s Health in July 2017, and a naked cover shoot for Fabulous Magazine. She also has over a million Instagram followers.
Lauren Whelan, acting commissioning editor at Yellow Kite, who secured world English language rights from Jon Franks at Insanity, said Thompson would make "a brilliant ambassador for mental health and body image".
"Body Positive will encourage others to take the same achievable steps that have dramatically improved her life and overall state of mind," she added.
Thompson commented: "Over the last 12 months I’ve learnt how to finally treat my body with the respect it deserves – the positive effect this has had on my physique, but most importantly, on my mental state, has been huge. I can’t wait to share the secrets of my journey and show you how easy it can be to shake the negative cycles, eat well, shape a strong body and build confidence from the inside-out."
