Meaningful goats: Brexit picture book hits the farm

Andersen Press will publish “the first Brexit picture book”, Smriti Prasadam-Halls and illustrator Robert Starling’s The Little Island.

The story takes place on a farm where animals live in harmony until, one day, the ducks and geese decide they don’t want other animals to visit their island, and set out to destroy the bridge that connects it to the rest of the farm.

The title, bought from Jodie Hodges at United Agents, will be published in October.
