Penguin Michael Joseph has swept in for another title from bestseller Mrs Hinch, packed with lists “to make organising your life the simplest it's ever been”.
Publisher Fenella Bates acquired world rights for Mrs Hinch: Life in Lists from Megan Staunton at Gleam Titles. It will publish in hardback on 28th October 2021.
The publisher said: “Alongside Mrs Hinch’s favourite Hinch Lists, new Monthly and Seasonal Hinch Lists will be all you need to help you plan ahead, whether it’s sorting out your big spring clean, organising your dream holiday celebration or just getting ready for a new week. Life in Lists also includes sections on self-care, gratitude and goal-setting, to help readers take time to focus on themselves, reflect back on all the amazing things in life, as well as plan for the future.
Sophie Hinchliffe, better known as Mrs Hinch, said: “I’m so so pleased to be working with Penguin Michael Joseph on another notebook of lists. It really is a dream come true! I’ve worked so hard with my incredible team at Penguin Michael Joseph to bring my ideas to life for my followers. They mean the absolute world to me and I can’t wait to see what they think of Life in Lists. I hope they love it as much as I do.”
Hinchliffe became an overnight sensation in 2018 by sharing her cleaning tips on Instagram and now has 4.1 million followers. Her first book Hinch Yourself Happy, published by Penguin Michael Joseph in April 2019, is the fastest-selling hardback non-fiction title of all time for Penguin Random House, and has sold 531,491 print copies in the UK through Nielsen BookScan. Her second book Mrs Hinch: The Activity Journal was published in October 2019, followed by Mrs Hinch: The Little Book of Lists in April 2020. This Is Me, her first memoir, became a Sunday Times number one bestseller last year. Excluding lockdown weeks, she has sold a total of 1.16 million books for £8.3m through the TCM.
Bates commented: “Sophie is one of the biggest brand authors in the UK, and we are delighted to be building on her bestselling success with a new book this Christmas! Sophie’s fifth book, Mrs Hinch: Life in Lists, will be everything her readers have been asking for—helping you get your homes and lives organised—one list at a time! We are thrilled to be working with Sophie and Gleam again, and we know this book is going to be at the top of every Hincher’s Christmas wish-list!’
Staunton added: “A book to organise your home as much as your mind, Life in Lists is the book Sophie’s audience have long been asking for. Prioritising self-care, personal development and ‘me time’, Life in Lists marries Sophie’s love of Hinching and encourages us to reflect on life’s achievements; those that we’ve achieved so far and those that we aspire to in the future.”
