Michael O'Mara says 'I do' to Georgie Mitchell's 'ultimate wedding planning bible'
Michael O’Mara has swooped for wedding planner and influencer Georgie Mitchell’s It’s Your Wedding: A Step-by-Step Guide Down the Aisle.
Editorial director Nicki Crossley acquired world all-language rights, excluding audio, from Amberley Lowis at the Viney Agency, for publication on 13th February 2025.
It’s Your Wedding is an "essential" pocket-sized wedding planner filled with advice, timelines, lists and trade secrets. The book will be published with a foreword by television presenter Jamie Laing, also the creator of the "NewlyWeds" podcast.
Alongside her work as a wedding planner, Mitchell co-hosts the podcast, "The Unfiltered Bride" and has a "huge online following" on Instagram and TikTok. She commented: "This book is not like anything else out there. It’s designed to help you create your wedding, your way. Nobody wants to attend the same wedding over and over again—so let’s make it unique. We cover word jargons to weddings vows, table plans to tuxedos, everything you need is in this book."
Crossley added: "What Georgie doesn’t know about wedding planning isn’t worth knowing. It’s Your Wedding brings together Georgie’s unrivalled organisational skills with her trademark sense of humour to make this the ultimate wedding planning bible."
