Octopus imprint Mitchell Beazley will publish the second book from mixer brand Fever-Tree.
Fever-Tree Easy Mixing: More than 150 Quick and Delicious Mixed Drinks and Cocktails “celebrates the art of at-home mixing, featuring quick and easy recipes combining Fever-Tree’s range of mixers, your favourite spirits, and simple ingredients", said Mitchell Beazley.
Publisher Denise Bates acquired world rights directly from Fever-Tree. It will be published on 16th September 2021 by Mitchell Beazley at £15.99 in hardback.
“With spirits sales hitting record heights in 2020—in the UK for example, a remarkable 68% of all households purchased spirits during the year—the thirst of knowledge and interest in how to make and mix spirits at home has exploded like never before,” Mitchell Beazley said. “Fever-Tree Easy Mixing has been created as the perfect accompaniment and guide for this growing band of at home mixologists.”
It is the second collaboration between Mitchell Beazley and the mixer brand after Fever-Tree The Art of Mixing was published in 2017. It has sold 95,252 copies to date (excluding lockdown sales) and was the bestseller for 2017 and 2018 in the Nielsen category Other Beverages, according to Nielsen BookScan.
Tim Warrillow, who helped found the brand in 2005 with Charles Rolls, said: “We are incredibly excited about the launch of Easy Mixing. We have seen first-hand the growing interest and excitement in mixing drinks at home not just in the UK but around the world and have set out to create the perfect companion for this growing band of at-home mixologists.”
Bates said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be publishing this new book with Fever Tree. The Art of Mixing was a bestseller and, given the brand’s stellar growth since then, and the even bigger interest in making great-tasting cocktails at home, we know Easy Mixing will be a major hit."
