Monty Don's My Garden World finds path to Two Roads

John Murray imprint Two Roads will publish My Garden World by Monty Don in September. 

Publisher Lisa Highton acquired world rights from Alexandra Henderson Associates. The title will be published in September 2020.  

My Garden World is Monty Don's "personal journey of the natural year" and a "celebration" of all living creatures that are shared by readers in the countryside as well as the towns. The title will be published with a "major" publicity and marketing campaign, according to Two Roads. 

Highton commented: “We so proud to be publishing Monty’s very timely and beautifully written book. As Monty says: ‘Gardens are the last bastion of many species as a result of the ravages of modern agriculture and the front line of climate change. 'Wildife' or being ‘In Nature' is not something that exists on the other side of the world but right here, right now outside your back door.'”

TV presenter Monty Don has previously published three titles with Two Roads: Nigel: My Family and Other Dogs (2016); Paradise Gardens (2018); and Japanese Gardens (2019).
