Myriad Editions has signed an exclusive global representation deal with agency Viv Loves Film for all its non-publishing rights.
Brighton-based Viv Loves Film is a literary, production and business affairs agency run by Emma Topping. The deal will see it represent all Myriad's rights for film, series, television, stage and radio productions, consumer products and podcasts.
Myriad publishing director Candida Lacey said: “This is such an exciting development for Myriad and our authors. Viv Loves Film is going from strength to strength and Emma brings with her a wealth of experience. We’re thrilled to be working with a film and TV agency that shares our passion for championing original storytellers and diverse voices.”
Viv Loves Film's recent projects include Sony’s Peter Rabbit franchise with Emma Topping as executive producer, and Netflix’s recently announced Redwall franchise, based on Brian Jacques’ book series.
Topping said: “Viv Loves Film is delighted to collaborate with fellow Brighton-based company Myriad Editions. Myriad Editions seeks out and publishes such an exciting range of talent both new and established. The calibre and diversity of their award-winning authors and content creators is an inspiration and their ethos chimes perfectly with that of Viv Loves Film. I cannot wait to see these stories lift from their pages and on to the screen, stage and beyond.”
