Mitchell Beazley is to publish a new book from Duck & Waffle chef Dan Doherty.
Toast Hash Roast Mash: Real Food for Every Time of Day will be published on 11th August (£20), after Octopus publisher Alison Starling bought world rights direct from the author.
It follows Doherty's first book Duck & Waffle: Recipes and Stories, also published by Mitchell Beazley.
The new book will contain the recipes Doherty cooks for family friends. "With ideas based around eggs, hash, pancakes, toast, simple savoury dishes and sweet bakes, this is food inspired by the best a breakfast or brunch menu can offer - but to eat all day." Recipes include Ricotta, Pear & Honey on Toast, Mexican Eggs and the Ultimate Grilled Cheese Sandwich.
Starling said: "It has been a huge pleasure to work with Dan on this second, much more personal book, particularly at a time when his profile is even higher than on the release of his first. We got him out of his chef whites and into his home kitchen to share the deliciously comforting, simple food he makes off-duty.
