Bonnier Books UK has acquired the first official book from Noel Gallagher.
Kelly Ellis, publishing director for adult non-fiction, acquired world all languages rights to Any Road Will Get Us There (If We Don’t Know Where We’re Going) to publish on the Blink imprint as a £20 hardback on 1st November.
The book will tell the story of Gallagher’s biggest world tour - Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds - and the making of his album "Who Built the Moon?".
The book will contain hundreds of exclusive behind-the-scenes pictures from his 72-date world tour shot by photographer Sharon Latham, accompanied by words from Hamish MacBain, but all said to be curated by Gallagher himself.
Billed as a “must-have book for fans”, included are pictures of Gallagher both on- and off-stage, taking in visits to the USA, Canada, UK & Ireland, Europe and Southeast Asia, candid interviews and anecdotes from Gallagher, and contributions from his band and crew.
Ellis said: “This is the book that fans have been waiting a long time for – the first and only official book from Noel Gallagher. It’s been a phenomenal year for Noel and the magic of it all has been captured beautifully by Sharon. It’s an intimate insight into life on the road for one of the world’s biggest artists. The band clearly had a lot of fun and I know fans will too when they read it. It’s a real passion project for everyone involved and I couldn’t be more excited.”
