Northodox Press has landed a two-book deal with Jamie Jackson for Adventures in Love and Lifetimes of Fame.
Publisher Ted O’Connor acquired UK and Commonwealth English-language rights from Jon Wood at the RCW Literary Agency.
Adventures in Love will be published on 2nd October 2025 with the second following in October 2026. Wood said: "Jamie is a fresh, unique and flamboyant voice that will appeal to both crime and literary audiences."
Adventures in Love "explores the halycon days in 1990 when Acid House hits England" and the moral pushback that results in raves being "driven underground".
Lifetimes oF Fame is set in the "glitz and glamour of the LA Strip" and follows private eye, Flamingo Torres, who is tracking down the person who killed their best friend.
Jackson commented: "Adventures in Love is a yarn of teenage romance between DJ Nancy Kools and ’Two-Brain’ Joey Miller and their scheme to steal 1,000 pink New Yorker ecstasy pills… Lifetimes of Fame is LA cool, penned my way: PI Flamingo Torres loves a Hawaiian shirt, Venice Beach and is out for revenge – and to find inner peace, somehow.”
