Nosy Crow has acquired three books in a new middle-grade series, S.T.E.A.L.T.H., from Jason Lokesh Rohan.
Kirsty Stansfield, head of fiction, bought world rights in all languages from Anne Clark at the Anne Clark Literary Agency. The first book, Access Denied, will be published in early 2022.
The synopsis reads: "When his dad disappears, Arun Lal is amazed to discover that he was secretly working on a classified project and has been kidnapped by arch-villains. Along with his geeky best friend Sam and tough-talking Donna, Arun is plunged into a race to rescue his father and find his creation before the bad guys can turn it into the world’s most deadly weapon..."
Stansfield said: "What we all need right now is a fast-paced, witty, no-holds-barred series of action-adventures and here it is! Jason’s compelling writing and knife-edge plotting make S.T.E.A.L.T.H. addictive reading. Buckle up!"
Rohan commented: "Growing up in the '70s, I didn't see any characters like me in books or films. S.T.E.A.L.T.H. is the kind of adventure series my younger self would have loved to find, and I'm delighted that Nosy Crow want to bring it to readers."
