One Boat lands book from TikTok star Joe's Garden in 24-hour pre-empt

One Boat has landed a book from TikTok star Joe’s Garden in a 24-hour pre-empt.

Hockley Raven Sloane, senior commissioning editor, acquired world rights to Garden to Save the World by Joe Clark from Dan Parker at 84World. Publication is slated for spring 2024. 

With over 1.4 million followers on TikTok @joesgarden, and a thriving online community and shop at joesgarden.co.uk, Clark, the publisher says, “is passionate about simplifying the world of plants and gardening and making it accessible to all”. Garden to Save the World is his first book. 

The publisher said: “Garden to Save the World will cover everything from growing your own food and eating seasonally to keeping vital ecosystems alive by encouraging wildlife and getting the most out of your outdoor space, whether it’s a garden, terrace or a balcony, all with a focus on being as environmentally friendly as possible.”
