One More Chapter bags 15-book deal with Christie Barlow

One More Chapter has bagged a 15-book deal with Christie Barlow, beginning with A Postcard from Puffin Island, the first in a new series. 

Publisher Charlotte Ledger acquired world English language rights directly from the author. A Postcard from Puffin Island will be published later this year. 

The series will offer readers "heart-warming coastal stories of friendships, community and cosy escapism" with the first book in the series set on a fictional island off the coast of north-east England. 

Barlow has written 21 romantic comedies previously, including A Home at Honeysuckle Farm (HarperCollins). She said: "I am beyond excited to be furthering my writing journey with One More Chapter. A 15-book deal is a dream. I am immensely grateful to Charlotte Ledger for her unwavering support in my career. I can’t wait to introduce my new series, Puffin Island, to my readers, especially after the amazing success of the Love Heart Lane series."

Ledger added: "I’ve worked with Christie for over seven years now and on 16 books and she never fails to amaze me with her creativity, work ethic and determination.
