Orion Fiction has scooped You Shouldn’t Have Come Here, a "brilliantly suspenseful" thriller from TikTok "sensation" Jeneva Rose in a five-book deal.
Leodora Darlington acquired UK and Commonwealth rights, excluding Canada, from Stephanie Koven, head of foreign rights at Blackstone Publishing. You Shouldn’t Have Come Here will be published in paperback, e-book and audiobook on 26th March 2024.
"Jeneva Rose’s work has electrified readers in America, and her prowess on social media has brought her to the global stage," said Koven. "Blackstone Publishing is overjoyed to be partnering with Orion to expand the reach of Jeneva’s amazing work to even more English language readers."
The novel follows Grace Evans who books an Airbnb "that promises romance with the handsome host on arrival only for the holiday to turn dark and destructive".
Darlington commented: "From Rose’s earliest publishing, her skill with the keyboard has always been clear – no-one writes character-driven twists and turns quite like she does."
Rose added: "I’m so grateful to be working with Orion Fiction. Between their endless talent and superb enthusiasm, I know my work is in good hands with Leodora and the entire team."
