Orion Non Fiction is publishing an "inspirational" book by a quadriplegic motivational speaker and "mouth artist", Henry Fraser.
Amanda Harris, publisher at Orion Publishing Group, bought World rights to The Little Big Things from Josephine Hayes at The Blair Partnership. It will be published by Orion Non Fiction on 18th May 2017.
Fraser was a 17-year old sports enthusiast and senior prefect when he broke his spinal cord and was left paralysed from the shoulders down. But, choosing survival over defeat, he managed to transform unimaginable difficulty into an opportunity to grow and inspire others.
The "must-read" book comprises Fraser's views on "what really matters in life", combining his wisdom and insight into accepting life's challenges with positivity and hope. According to publishers, it will resonate with anyone facing an obstacle, no matter how big or small.
At the heart of Fraser's philosophy is his belief that every day is a good day: “Rather than look at everything I can't do, I look at everything I can do and everything I have got and I'm very grateful for it all.”
Harris said: “What happened to Henry is, unfortunately, not unique. How Henry reacted to this huge physical and mental challenge is completely unique and utterly remarkable. The Little Big Things will be a must-read. Henry's thoughts on what really matters in life will resonate around the world. As a motivational speaker, Henry has inspired international sportsmen, world-renowned authors and school children alike. This book will encourage anyone facing a personal challenge – however great or small – and will inspire us all to live our lives to the full. We are particularly thrilled to feature Henry's artwork on the front cover of this very special book. I feel honoured to be Henry's publisher.”
Fraser said: “I'm really excited to be working with Orion. When I met Amanda she completely understood my story and had some amazing ideas which I cannot wait to start. Hopefully it will be a great partnership with Orion.”
