Orion has acquired a new novel by author Julie Cohen called Together.
It begins at the end of a couple's life and unwinds into the past, over the years of their relationship, unravelling towards the heart-breaking secret they have protected since they first met.
Harriet Bourton, publisher at Orion Fiction, bought UK & Commonwealth rights to Cohen's "poignant" and "surprising" novel from Teresa Chris of the Teresa Chris Agency.
Orion Fiction will publish Together in hardback in summer 2017 and in paperback in early spring 2018.
Bourton said: "In Together, Julie has created an achingly powerful love story that forces the reader to question everything they believe about the morality of love. It left my heart in my throat; as soon as I finished I was immediately desperate to talk to someone about it. We are so excited to be publishing it next year."
Cohen lives in Berkshire and writes full time as well as teaching creative writing. Previously published by Penguin Random House, her past novels include Dear Thing (Black Swan), a Richard & Judy title, and Where Love Lies (Bantam), winner of the title Best Romantic Read 2016.
