Pan Macmillan has acquired B K Borison’s Lovelight Farm series for publication in the UK, as well as the first book in a new series.
Editorial assistant Kinza Azira acquired UK and Commonwealth rights for the four-book series as well as a book in a new series from Tawanna Sullivan, director of subsidiary rights, at Berkley.
Borison is represented by Kim Lionetti at Bookends Literary. Pan will begin publishing the series in paperback and e-book in 2023. B K Borison’s Lovelight Farms is pitched “as all the warmth of ‘Gilmore Girls’ in a witty and heart-warming, seasonally inspired series for fans of Emily Henry and Christina Lauren.”
The series follows four friends living in the small town of Inglewild, as they each find love. The publisher says: “Utterly escapist, all-consuming and romance to make you blush – Lovelight Farms is bursting with all the feels. The books will keep their gorgeously iconic indie artwork created by Sam Palencia at Ink and Laurel.”
Azira commented: “Becs is a rising star in romance and we’re thrilled to be bringing the magic of Lovelight Farms to new readers in the UK. Addictive writing, hilarious and swoon-worthy characters and cosy small-town vibes are all the reasons why Becs will be a stellar voice in the romance genre.”
Borison added: “I am absolutely delighted to partner with Pan Macmillan to bring my books to the UK. It’s a dream come true. I can’t wait for new readers to discover the Lovelight universe.”
