Pavilion is to publish the 100% Unofficial Gareth Southgate Annual in November.
The publisher and creative team behind 2017's The Unofficial Jeremy Corbyn Annual is set to release another spoof annual featuring 2018's "undisputed man of the year", Gareth Southgate.
Published by Pavilion's Portico imprint, this "affectionate and highly amusing" souvenir will mark the achievements of the "much-loved" manager of the England Football team.
Filled with games, quizzes, dress-up waistcoat dolls, cut-out masks, brainteasers, football trivia and a retro photo story "Penalties of Love" featuring the young Hugh Grant as the young Southgate, The Unofficial Gareth Southgate Annual will "appeal to football lovers of all ages", said the publisher.
The book's creators – Adam G Goodwin, Dicken Goodwin and Jonathan Parkyn – have two further titles in the series publishing this autumn on the Portico list: The Unofficial Jeremy Corbyn Annual 2019 and The Unofficial Donald Trump Annual 2019.
Pavilion holds world rights in all languages for the series and will publish The Unofficial Gareth Southgate Annual on 1st November 2018.
This news follows G2 Entertainment's announcement that it will be publishing the story of Southgate going from "zero to hero" next month and HarperCollins's news it will be rush-releasing a title celebrating England's "Young Lions".
