Penguin Life to publish first book from ‘social media sensation’ Jefferson Fisher

Penguin Life will publish Jefferson Fisher’s The Next Conversation: Argue Less, Talk More alongside Tarcher Perigee in the US.

Cameron Myers pre-empted rights UK and Commonwealth rights from Tarcher Perigee, who sold the book on behalf of primary agent Tess Callero at Europa Content. The publication will now be managed by publishing director Pippa Wright on 20th March as a trade paperback, e-book and audio.

Fisher is a Texas trial lawyer who began recording Instagram videos about how to have better conversations. “In his first book, he offers the definitive guide to making your next conversation the one that changes everything,” the synopsis reads. “No matter who you’re talking to, The Next Conversation gives you immediately actionable strategies and phrases that will forever change how you communicate.”

Wright said: “I’ve been a follower and a fan of Jefferson for so long, and it was a true thrill to join Penguin Life and take over publication of his first book from Cameron Myers.
