Penguin Michael Joseph has signed a recipe book by YouTube baker and owner of the Crumbs & Doilies Bakery in London, Jemma Wilson.
Dan Hurst, editorial director of lifestyle and cookery, acquired world rights to Crumbs & Doilies direct from Wilson, who is known to her 2.3 million YouTube followers as Cupcake Jemma. Crumbs & Doilies will be published on 24th November 2022 in hardback and e-book.
The debut sees her share 100 recipes for mouth-watering cakes, bakes, cookies and everything in between. Including some of Crumbs & Doilies’ best-loved recipes as well as a whole host of new treats. The publisher describes it as "a must-have addition to the shelf of any keen home baker".
Wilson, who launched her business from a small market stall in 2006 and began posting content online in 2013, said: “I’m so excited to be given the opportunity to showcase the incredible creations that come out of the Crumbs & Doilies bakery and show everyone what an incredibly creative team we have here. We have so many loyal fans who have really connected with the brand over the years and I know this book will delight them, while also helping all aspiring bakers to gain new skills, improve existing ones and inspire their own creativity in the kitchen.”
