Penguin Michael Joseph (PMJ) will publish Cook Once, Eat Twice by Nadiya Hussain in September to accompany her new BBC series focused on how “to make the most out of every meal”.
Ione Walder, non-fiction publisher, bought world rights in all languages from Anne Kibel at A K Artist Management. It will be published on 12th September 2024, retailing at £28. This will be her ninth book with Penguin Michael Joseph.
The book is a tie-in with the prime-time BBC Two and iPlayer show hosted by Hussain, the six-part series “Nadiya’s Cook Once, Eat Twice”, due this autumn.
The blurb reads: “Nadiya is the Queen of kitchen hacks and in Cook Once, Eat Twice she shares creative tips and tricks to make the most out of every meal. Nadiya’s creative time-savers include trusty batch-cooking and meal-prepping ideas, clever ways to spin leftovers into new meals, and simple baked treats that are easy to store and eat later.
“With recipes such as Cheese and Lamb Samosas, Toad in the Hole Burgers and Lemon Sherbet Loaf, Nadiya shows how easy it is to stretch your meals, reduce your waste and make life simpler, so you always have satisfying food at your fingertips.”
Hussain said: “I love sharing my kitchen secrets and hacks to help everyone make the most of their kitchen, their food and their time. Who doesn’t love to cook once and eat twice? With this new book I want to inspire and encourage you to find new dishes that you will make on repeat, and that will help you think about staple ingredients in new way.”
Walder said: “Nadiya has always been known for liking a clever hack or shortcut when it comes to cooking, and now with her next book she’s put them centre-stage, showing us how to get twice the reward for everything we do in the kitchen. Busy, hungry people will love the recipes in this book.”
