Kew Gardens will host a Peter Rabbit themed festival this year after striking a deal with Penguin Ventures, part of Penguin Random House.
The festival, which will take place 30th March – 15th April, is called ‘A Big Day Out With Peter Rabbit’ and will feature activity workshops, games, crafts and an interactive nature trail, which will encourage visitors to explore the world of fruit and vegetables and learn about how they are grown. Kew will also sell Peter Rabbit licensed merchandise in its shop.
Thomas Merrington, creative director at Penguin Ventures, said: “Peter Rabbit is synonymous with mischief and garden adventures and will be perfectly at home in the beautiful setting of Kew Gardens. We can’t wait to see young fans and their families enjoy the fantastic activities that Kew has planned with Peter this Easter.”
Tickets for the festival will be included in price of the general entrance ticket, which is £17 for adults and £5 for children.
Silvergate Media, acting on behalf of Penguin Ventures, brokered the deal for the festival with Kew.
