Editor-in-chief of British Vogue Alexandra Shulman is publishing her personal insider’s diary of Vogue’s centenary year with Penguin's Fig Tree imprint this October.
Inside Vogue: A Diary of My 100th Year will be "a rich, personal, honest and sharply observed account of life lived at the centre of British fashion and cultural life" and will provide a "unique" insight into the world of fashion, the publisher said.
It will include insights including producing Vogue's 100th Anniversary Issue to flying around the globe for international fashion weeks, to working with contributors including David Bailey, Kate Moss and Alexa Chung.
Shulman, who has edited British Vogue for 24 years and is its longest serving editor, also provides wider commentary on what it means to be a businesswoman, an entrepreneur, a cultural figurehead and a mother in twenty-first century Britain in the book.
Juliet Annan, publishing director at Fig Tree, bought UK and Commonwealth rights from Eugenie Furniss at Furniss Lawton.
Inside Vogue: A Diary of My 100th Year will be published as a royal hardback on 27th October 2016, priced at £16.99.
