Little, Brown Book Group imprint Piatkus has acquired a guide to ageing well, called The Age-Well Project, by author Annabel Abbs and TV executive and cook book author Susan Saunders.
Publishing director Zoe Bohm acquired UK and Commonwealth rights at auction from Rachel Mills at Furniss Lawton for publication in trade paperback and e-book in spring 2019.
The Age-Well Project is described as "part memoir, part research-based guide to longevity and healthy ageing, and part cook book" suitable for anyone interested in protecting their health in the future. In it, the authors will share the 50 top ideas from their research, having read over 50,000 scientific research papers on all aspects of ageing.
Bohm said: "I’m thrilled to be publishing The Age-Well Project on my list at Piatkus. In this thoroughly researched, accessible and easy-to-implement guide to ageing well, Annabel and Susan have done all the hard work for you – and they are the perfect adverts for their own advice."
Mills added: "Annabel and Susan embarked on such an incredible project, and I’m thrilled that their book has found a home at Piatkus so we can all benefit from their research; this is the book for anyone who wants clear advice on how to protect their future health – and how to feel great now."
