Mirchandani commented: “We all at Picador are delighted to be publishing Hua Hsu’s deeply moving and beautifully written memoir. Whether he is writing about music, loss or the pleasures and pains of being young, of his relationship with his father in Taiwan or his late Japanese-American friend Ken, Hua’s writing, as has been so widely recognised in the US, is pitch-perfect and emotionally true from first page to last.”
Hua Hsu added: “I’m properly chuffed to be working with Ravi and humbled to join such a brilliant list at Picador.”
