The Trees was shortlisted for the Booker Prize and won the Bollinger Everyman Wodehouse Prize. Everett’s most recent novel, Dr No, was shortlisted for the National Book Critics Circle Award. Everett was awarded the Windham-Campbell Literature Prize earlier this year.
Mount said: “It is a huge thrill and honour to be publishing some of Percival Everett’s extraordinary backlist at Picador. Percival is one of the most exhilarating novelists currently at work in the English language and we cannot wait to bring these novels to a huge new readership both in the UK and around the world.”
