Penguin Random House is publishing an audiobook edition of Nigella Lawson’s first cookbook, How to Eat, to mark 20 years since it first appeared in print.
Read by Lawson herself, the audiobook - Penguin Random House’s first cookbook to be published in audio - will run to about 15 hours in length and will include all the recipes from the book
Audiobook editor Alice Twomey said: “20 years ago Nigella wrote a genre-breaking cookbook that has become a much-loved classic. How To Eat is so much more than just a cookbook; it’s Nigella’s philosophy on food and her love letter to eating. As Nigella’s audio editor, listening to Nigella reading How To Eat in the studio was such a joy for me – the recording is a feast for the ears, and it certainly makes you feel hungry! I hope that listeners will feel ready to head into the kitchen and take on anything, with Nigella’s voice guiding them through.”
How to Eat: The Pleasures and Principles of Good Food, read by Nigella Lawson, will be available as a digital download on 11th October, priced at £13.
