PRH to release Fry's Making History in audio

Penguin Random House UK has acquired audio rights for Stephen Fry’s fourth novel, Making History, which will be released for the first time in audio on 20th May 2021, read by the author. 

First published by Hutchinson in 1996, Making History is a billed as a "mind-bending, time travelling comedy".  The audiobook will be produced by Penguin’s executive producer Roy McMillan who has worked with Fry on his recent Mythos titles.

James Keyte, senior commissioning editor in audio, said: "Stephen Fry is one of the country’s finest writers and an iconic narrator. We’re so thrilled to be producing an audio edition of Making History which will give his ardent fans the opportunity to experience Stephen’s whole catalogue in all formats, for the first time."

Alongside the new audiobook, Arrow will reissue the paperback edition of Making History, as well as new editions of The Liar (1991), The Hippopotamus (1995) and The Stars’ Tennis Balls (2000). The reissues will feature new artwork and also be published on 20th May 2021.
