Quercus is publishing a new book by cycling pro Geraint Thomas, Mountains According to G, described as a love letter to the sportsman's favourite climbs.
Richard Milner bought world rights in the new book from David Luxton on behalf of Jay de Andrade at Rocket Sports.
The book spotlights climbs from local rides at home in Wales to the mountains of Australia, Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Mallorca. The synopsis reads: "Cycling fans obsess about climbs and big mountains. They love reading about their tests and tribulations and they love to ride them–a cricket lover can never bat at Lord's, or a football supporter score at Wembley, but any rider can take on the challenge of an iconic mountain."
De Andrade said: "We’re absolutely delighted to be working with Quercus and Tom Fordyce–it’s great to see the team behind the According To G books assemble for a third time. The titles continue to go from strength to strength and we’re so excited to be taking the cycling literature market in another new direction."
Milner said: "Geraint is the perfect companion on his favourite climbs and this is a must-read for any keen cyclist."
Mountains According to G will be published in hardback, audio and e-book on 29th October 2020.
