Quadrille is to publish Weekend, the third cookbook by chef and TV host Matt Tebbutt.
Weekend: Eating at Home: From Long Lazy Lunches to Fast Family Fixes will have 100 recipes and menu combinations that will cater for all occasions, including quick meal ideas and food for guests that will impress. The synopsis explains: "From casual Friday night supper to brunch with friends, light lunches and garden feasts, picnics and barbecues, to more lavish dinner parties and the classic Sunday lunch, Matt has all bases covered."
Tebbutt is the presenter of BBC TV's long-running flagship food show, "Saturday Kitchen". For many years he ran his restaurant The Foxhunter in Wales, and has worked at restaurants including Alistair Little’s and Marco Pierre White at the Oak Room and Criterion.
Publisher Sarah Lavelle acquired world rights from Charlotte Robertson at Robertson Murray Literary Agency.
Tebbutt said: “I am very excited to finally release this beautiful book. Weekends have always been a focus point of the week for me, the time when the big events are taking place, entertaining is done, celebrations, commiserations and everything in between. This is how I look at Weekend food, simple and snacky, high-end and elaborate, traditional and sometimes a bit trashy.”
Lavelle added: “What a treat to work with the wonderful Matt Tebbutt on his inspiring new cookbook. After all this time being stuck at home, where it was easy to lose track of days and seasons, this is the perfect book to make weekend cooking and feasting special again.”
Weekend will publish on 11th November.
