Quadrille is to publish the companion book to the fourth series of BBC2’s "The Great British Sewing Bee".
Publishing director Sarah Lavelle bought world rights from Stuart Cooper at Metrostar Media, on behalf of Love Productions.
"The Great British Sewing Bee" is a reality television programme in which amateur sewers compete to be named "Britain's best home sewer".
Alongside designer Patrick Grant, this year's series welcomes new judge Esme Young, co-founder of the fashion label Swanky Modes. The show will be hosted by Claudia Winkleman.
Quadrille has also published tie-in books for the first three series of The Great British Sewing Bee. With over 25 garments to sew for women, men and children, this new book will "accompany all levels of sewers on their creative journeys, from tentative first stitches to confident dressmaking."
Lavelle says: “The Great British Sewing Bee books have been the jewel in the crown of Quadrille's already prestigious craft list, so we’re excited and delighted to be publishing the fourth TV tie-in. Our publishing relationship with Love has resulted in three fantastically successful books and we’re looking forward to another bestseller."
The book will be published in May to coincide with the return of the series, which has previously reached an average audience of 3.1m viewers.
