Quadrille to publish cocktail book with Outlander’s Sam Heughan

Quadrille has acquired The Cocktail Diaries by Sam Heughan.

Sarah Lavelle, Quadrille managing director, publishing, acquired world rights from Zoe Ross at United Agents. The Cocktail Diaries will publish on 18th September 2025.

"The Cocktail Diaries includes chapters on Sam’s top 10 all-time favourites, ’Simple and Timeless’ recipes for those easy crowd-pleasers, ’Complex and Conversational’ for something a bit more sophisticated and a final section, ’Made by Friends’, featuring imaginative recipes created by international bartenders for Sam and his brand Sassenach Spirits – a tailor-made tour of the world’s best cocktails."

Lavelle said: "Sam’s passion for the subject shone through from the moment we met him. His tales from his global travels, alongside the drinks themselves, make this a cocktail book like no other – people all over the world are going to love it."

Heughan added: "The Cocktail Diaries contains new insights into my global travels and the friends I’ve made along the way, whilst seeking the best mixed drinks and recipes to recreate at home."
