Quadrille is dishing up the début title from Benoit Blin, head pastry chef at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons and judge on “Bake Off: The Professionals”.
World rights to Bake With Benoit: Master Cakes, Pastries and Desserts Like a Professional were acquired by commissioning editor Isabel Gonzalez-Prendergast from Rosemary Scoular at United Agents. The baking book will publish in July 2024.
During lockdown Blin adapted his favourite pastry and cake recipes to suit a home kitchen and has distilled this knowledge into Bake With Benoit. Quadrille says the forthcoming title will equip bakers to create “professional-level” patisserie at home.
Gonzalez-Prendergast commented: “Benoit’s début book is a charming glimpse into his knowledge, experience and passion for baking. He has distilled techniques for baking brilliantly in professional kitchens into simplified methods for home cooks in this collection of delightful bakes.
