Radar has scooped Hexy B*tch, a "spooky" new book by actress and writer Daisy May Cooper.
Briony Gowlett acquired world English language rights from Ben Dunn at DunnFogg on behalf of The Mason Sisters, and the book will be published in October 2024, in hardback and digital editions.
"For as long as Daisy May Cooper can remember, she’s been fascinated with the unexplained," the synopsis says. "Ghosts, spirits, tea leaves, big cat sightings, astrological charts, paranormal activity — you name it, she’s been obsessed! In the hilarious Hexy B*tch, Daisy sets out to probe the otherworldly and investigate how her own experiences with forces we can’t explain have influenced all parts of her life."
Cooper commented: "Let me take you on a journey to the weird and wonderful and hopefully with the sale of this book, I can pay off my 2007 student loan."
Meanwhile, Gowlett said of the acquisition: "It has basically been a five-year long mission to acquire a book by Daisy, and I couldn’t be more excited that it’s this book. Daisy’s knowledge and passion for all things unexplained is contagious, so to throw her superb humour into that mix is a dream combination."
