Rebel Girls and Google have formed a digital content partnership which will see the brand add nearly 200 pieces of new content to Google Kids Space, including new e-books and audio content.
The new read-along e-books will be available on Google Kids Space, described as “an Android tablet experience for kids”, over the course of the next year alongside 180 pieces of Rebel Girls’ audio content.
Eight read-along e-books will be aimed at children aged three to six years old: Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls: Baby’s First Book of Amazing Women; Rebel Girls Champions; Rebel Girls Climate Warriors; Wild Wild Wildlife: Bindi Irwin; Queen of the Halfpipe: Chloe Kim; Dueling Drummers: Nandi Bushell; Blue Jeans & Ballet Shoes: Judith Jamison and Tinkering with Light: Ann Makosinski.
These are available now and 10 more will be announced and made available in 2023. Additionally, Google has licensed 180 pieces of audio content, including audio stories about Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Xiye Bastida, Celia Cruz and Frida Kahlo, among other inspirational women.

DK and Rebel Girls recently announced that DK would become the independent publisher’s exclusive global sales and distribution partner for its English-language titles from spring 2023.
