Children’s education and entertainment brand Rebel Girls is partnering with Nike to launch a limited edition book and a series of digital stories celebrating women footballers, coinciding with the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 tournament.
The brand, which specialises in podcasts and stories for instilling confidence in young girls, will collaborate with the sports giant to release 20,000 copies of the book, Rebel Girls: Game-Changing Footballers, 12 Thrilling Stories of Female Athletes. The books will be distributed to children in Nike retail stores, various schools and partnering shops across London.
Rebel Girls has also produced stories and illustrations of Nike athletes which have been packaged into 25 digital stories for the brand’s website, app and social channels. In addition, seven audio stories will be available to access on the Rebel Girls’ app and website.

The 25 digital stories will released to coincide with Euros tournament, for which Nike is an official sponsor. Nike will also be producing posters of the athletes featuring Rebel Girls’ original illustrations in the athletes’ local regions.
