TV rights to RG Adams' debut crime procedural, Allegation (riverrun) have been snapped up by producer John Giwa-Amu of Red & Black Films and executive music producer Mark Lo of Asylum Giant.
Producer Giwa-Amu is best known for his debut feature "Little White Lies", which won two BAFTA Cymru Awards in 2006, while Lo was executive music producer on the seven-part TV drama "Jonathan Strange" and "Mr Norrell". He is currently making his directorial debut with "Count Me In", a documentary feature about drummers now in post-production.
The "conversation-starting" book, Allegation, which is yet to publish, features a formidable young Welsh social worker, Kit Goddard. It hits shelves under Quercus imprint riverrun in July 2020, after Richard Arcus acquired UK and Commonwealth rights in print, e-book and audio at auction from Laetitia Rutherford of Watson, Little, during the London Book Fair.
