Richard Osman's fifth instalment of The Thursday Murder Club due September 2025

Viking Books UK has revealed that the fifth book in Richard Osman’s global phenomenon, the bestselling Thursday Murder Club series, will be published in September 2025.

Due on 25th September 2025, it will come five years after his debut which went straight to number one in the Sunday Times chart, starting "a major new publishing megabrand", Viking said.

Steven Spielberg’s company, Amblin Entertainment, is adapting the first book into a film, after a major auction for the film rights, featuring the likes of Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Sir Ben Kingsley, Celia Imrie and David Tennant among others.

Osman’s first book in his new series, We Solve Murders, was published earlier this month and is the fifth of his books to go straight to number one across all book charts.
