Head of Zeus has acquired a "sensational" new thriller from J S Monroe.
Publishing director Laura Palmer bought UK and Commonwealth rights at auction to Find Me by J S Monroe, from Will Francis at Janklow and Nesbit.
Palmer said: "This is a sensational multi-layered thriller with a brilliant mid-way twist that I didn't see coming – and I usually pride myself on spotting these things. I can't wait to publish it."
Monroe said: "I'm delighted to be published by Head of Zeus. I love their list and I'm so impressed with their whole approach to Find Me - in print and digital. They are imaginative, think outside the box and are fleet-footed compared to the big corporates."
Monroe is the writing name of British author and journalist Jon Stock. Stock has worked as a freelance journalist in London and was a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4. He was also a foreign correspondent in Delhi for the Daily Telegraph and was on its staff in London as weekend editor. He is the author of five other novels.
Find Me is published in hardback in February 2017.
