Serendipity spices things up with first five acquisitions

Serendipity, the new romance imprint from Legend Times, has scooped its first five titles for 2024.

Marketing manager Olivia Le Maistre bought world English language rights – excluding Australia, New Zealand and North America – to Alyssa J Montgomery’s Return to Hope Creek from Nicolette at Harlequin. The book will be published on 31st May 2024. 

Maistre also acquired world English-language rights – again excluding Australia, New Zealand and North America – to Four Night Stand by Georgia Moore, from Nicolette Houben at Harlequin. The book is scheduled for publication on 11th June 2024. The next title that Maistre acquired is Double Booked in Corfu by Samantha Pennington, in which she bought world rights from Kate Nash at the Kate Nash Literary Agency, to publish on 25th June 2024. 

The marketing manager also bought world rights – excluding translation and film/TV rights – in That Night in New York by Laura Wilkinson, from Camilla Shestopal at Shesto Literary. The book will be published on 3rd September 2024. The final book that Maistre acquired for the imprint is Jade Church’s Snowed in with You, in which she bought world rights – excluding audio – from Erica Christensen at Metamorphosis Literary Agency. The title will be released on 3rd October 2024. 

The imprint has also announced a new "Chilli" rating system – with a scale ranging from "Sweet" to "Very Spicy" – which aligns with its mission to "prioritise readers’ preferences".
